AIS Tracking
ADRENA is adding new functionalities linked to the AIS. Of course, the standard safety functions are still working, but new ones have been added.
During the races, organizers often create competitors position files at regular intervals. As for the AIS function, it detects boats located around. These two dimensions have not been working together so far. Now, it is possible to identify an AIS target as a race competitor.
To improve the competitors monitoring, the AIS Tracking gives the possibility to the navigators to choose the targets to track in order to get information about them – direction, speed and so on – permanently displayed on screen.
The AIS Tracking gives the possibility to display 14 new comparative data between your own boat and the targets (speed percentage or lateral displacement for example).
Georeferenced images overlay
In Version 13, Google earth files can be imported into ADRENA (ice files, weather charts, satellite and aerial photos) and be superimposed on the charts.

Thanks to this function, it is possible to export data from Adrena to Google earth. The following data will be exported: boat’s track, competitors, roadbooks, waypoints, routes… For example, this new feature enables the display of landscape effects, all of it in 3D!
