For 20 years, ADRENA has been at the forefront of innovation in navigation and weather routing software, equipping the greatest skippers and crews members taking part in prestigious competitions such as the Vendée Globe, the Route du Rhum, the Arkea Ultim Challenge and the Solitaire du Figaro. ADRENA also works with the staff of the French Sailing Team, the training centers and the race directors of the French Sailing Federation.
ADRENA also develops and markets navigation and routing software for ocean cruising (Adrena Octopus) and maritime transport (Adrena Ship).
Your tasks :
We are looking for someone with a passion for sailing, the sea and water sports, and a solid technical background to carry out the following tasks:
- Support for users (sailors, sea travelers and nautical adventures, ocean racing skippers, etc.)
- Assistance at right before the race starts (organisation, race direction and teams)
- Running training sessions
- Being present at fairs
- Drafting of technical data sheets
- Drafting documentation
- Participating in software testing
- Participating in software upgrades (functionalities)
⇒ Traveling will be required.
The ideal profile:
- Bac +2 (equivalent) minimum in computer science / electronics / engineering / technology
- Knowledge of marine electronics required
- Proficiency in Windows environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of customer service
- Good level of English and French (bilingual) essential (written/spoken)
⇒ Sailing and racing experience would be a real plus
